THE NURSING STATION – MIAMI CPR was established in 2008 by two nurses with a love for nursing and nurturing. Our family of instructors has grown to include paramedics, future physicians and lay rescuers. Basic emergency cardiovascular care is essential in the medical field. Education empowers us all.
We believe learning these life-saving skills should not be stressful, but should be memorable and fun. 2-year certification eCards issued on the same day upon successful completion of the course. We are AHA and ASHI certified instructors.

The AHA publishes the Guidelines for CPR and ECC, which set the standard for life-saving first aid and CPR protocols and products around the world and make up the basis for our own life-saving course materials used to teach first aid CPR and advanced cardiovascular care to thousands of healthcare providers, caregivers and community members each year.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
ACLS protocols for acute arrhythmias, cardiac arrest (including post-cardiac arrest care), acute coronary syndromes and acute stroke within or outside of a medical facility setting.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers to respond to emergencies in infants and children.
First Aid and/or CPR AED (Heartsaver)
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute)
ASHI training programs are recognized, accepted and approved by, or meet the requirements of, nearly 2,400 state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions and councils in more than 120 occupations and professions.
Who Needs These Courses?
BLS/ACLS/PALS courses are intended for students in the medical field and healthcare providers. Heartsaver courses and ASHI courses are intended for non-medical personnel and anyone who wants to learn Basic First Aid and CPR AED to potentially save a life!

Other Classes
Mandatory Student Manual
The AHA requires students to have access to the provider manual prior, during and after class (6-hr ACLS/PALS classroom-based course). The manual is NOT REQUIRED for any of the eLearning courses. If you do not have access to the manual you may purchase the book from us.
